GU10 Halogen Lights

GU10 halogen lights are probably the most popular mains halogen light found in the the home or office and commercial properties . The PAR16 GU10 halogen lamp is 50mm diameter and has two twist lock pins to secure into the GU10 halogen holder they are usually 50 watt or hispot 50 watt and are supplied in either a flood or spot version . We have 20 watt gu10 halogen light and 35 watt gu10 halogen bulbs as well as coloured gu10 halogen lamps available in blue yellow red green and amber gu10 versions . Also now becoming more and more popular are the GU10 led versions of the GU10 halogen light as they these only take a fraction of the power that the GU10 50 watt lamp uses and when you have an installation with over 100 of these GU10 halogen lights you see a considerable saving .

The GU10 LED white lamp only provides around 20 watts of light compared with a 50 watt GU10 lamp and also the white light has a blue tinge to it , they are more for decorative purposes than for main lighting . The GU10 halogen light has an aluminium reflector and therefore reflects the heat forwards away from the fitting .. this helps to keep the fitting cooler but in areas where heat is a problem you could use the GZ10 halogen which uses a dichroic reflector and this reduces the ir heat projected forwards and provides a cooler beam of light . The gu10 or par16 halogen lamps are sealed with a lens cover to protect the halogen bulb itself .

Connectors are available for these GU10 halogen lights , they are basically a ceramic base with 100mm lead that is connected allowing you to wire up a string of lights or use the GU10 Halogen as a light source in a variety of applications and should you require a GU10 downlight fitting ,they are also available in white brass , chrome and Satin Chrome for the standard fixed flush and wall wash fittings.
